Pros and cons of MidiBridge app for iPhone and iPad

MidiBridge app good for

I havent used it yet to its fullest potential, however so far I have been successful with simple setups. Especially nice is being able to control coreMIDI via WIFI on the iphone with the ipad and vice versa....WITHOUT a PC!
This is a must have for all owners of the Line 6 Midi Mobilizer I. Allows me now to play SampleTank and GarageBand.
This is a wonderful tool to connect music/sound apps on the iPhone to midi. I use it to play the "Animoog" app with my Synthstation 25 keys and it works perfectly through the help of MidiBridge. And that should only be the tip of the iceberg. Buy it and try it out – it will most likely meet your needs. Very fast and nice contact to the developer. Good documentation. Highly recommended!
...opening up the iPhone to the world of MIDI. i use it mainly with garage band and synthstation. handy UI. and perfect service from programmers. wish all apps were like this one...
I have a synthstation 25 but it doesnt work with all my music app (sampletank, garageband) . With MidiBridge im able to make it work with most of my apps.
I use this app to throw my iPad in line with a bunch of external hardware. The problem is that my connection to my iPad has no midi out. This app solves the issue. I use it to feed the midi in back to the midi out, essentially turning the midi out into a midi thru/out. Exactly what I needed! I emailed support before purchasing the app to see if it would do what I needed. Lightning quick response. Great support, great product, and has never crashed (used several times ~1.5hrs each time for my live PAs). Really greatful for a product that allows me to integrate my iPad into an all hardware setup with a lot of midi!

Some bad moments

Doesnt work for Sampletank to DD-65 Yamaha. I lost my time and money. :(
Doesnt work at all! Description says it would work with GarageBand but it doesnt. It doesnt display it in the application menu and it doesnt find its midi ports. If I try to connect my external midi with dm1 no midi signal gets transmitted. Im so angry I wasted so much money on that stupid piece of garbage!
Title says it all... Useless, has hard to follow instructions, interface makes no sense, I thought I could use it for saving sysex setup files and it actually may work for that, but I cant seem to get it do do anything but show connections to icons.. Total waste of money.
this app is hard to understand, over priced and hardly works most of the time. this software should be free or 99 cents why doesnt apple want full support for there software like garageband?
This app has one the worst UIs for music apps in this price range. Its unintuitive, does not follow any conventional gestures that other iPad apps have, and graphics and icons often dont make sense. This is an app where you ACTUALLY need to read a 10+ page instructions to be able to use it because the app is designed so horribly. Save yourself $9 and get free other MIDI tool apps that are free and has a working UI. its a real shame because this app can do a lot of cool things if you can actually use it.
This used to be great, but this as fallen behind and need an update to be up to date with iOS 9. Now this keeps crashing.
